We are delighted to confirm a number of new gigs to our fast-growing schedule for 2025 with two more prestigious events in the pipeline.
Timings are now confirmed for the Cockwood Shanty Festival on Saturday, 22nd March opening at 1pm at the Royal British Legion in Starcross, then at 5pm we’ll be at The Anchor Inn in Cockwood itself before heading back to Starcross and the Starcross Pavillion at 8pm. For full details visit 2025 – Upcoming Performances

Saturday 5th April sees a much-awaited return to the very popular The Bull And Dragon at Meeth, one we’re really looking forward to.
Recently confirmed is an afternoon performance at The Pinhoe Hoard in Exeter, a new venue for us, on Easter Saturday with two sets from 1pm.
Friday, 6th June sees another new venue at Weston near Honiton, and an outdoor, evening gig (weather permitting) within the spectacular walled garden of the acclaimed Heron Farm & Vineyard. Rumours are there’ll be a BBQ or hog roast too!
Two days later on Sunday, 8th June you can see us at Exeter Quay adjacent to Topsham Brewery when once again we will be performing on the SV Britannia Britannia Sailing Trust which is undergoing extensive restoration. Always a pleasure to support Sam and Vicki Samuels and their incredibly talented restoration team.

Saturday, 26th July sees us performing two prime time late afternoon/early evening sets at the inaugural Dawlish Shanty Festival hosted by The Smugglers Inn, while after last year’s incredible blast we look forward to returning to the very welcoming Golden Lion Inn at High Bickington on Saturday 16th August.
There’s still two or three potential local gigs on the horizon, PLUS we look forward to sharing some EARTH SHATTERING NEWS (well, in Devon & Cornwall anyway) of an exciting concert, towards the end of the year, at one of the south west’s most prestigious venues, in collaboration with another LEADING shanty crew based just over the border in ‘Cornishland’ and who are steadfastly refusing to accompany our famous anthem ‘Devon’s The Place! We’ll see 😉
